Joyce Joan Theodosis (née Voodre), 90, passed away Tuesday, August 7, after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born June 10, 1928, in Detroit, she was the only daughter of John and Florence (nee Dryer). In life, Joyce was an avid seamstress, cook, gardener, and bingo player. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Northern Michigan, and was very active well into her eighties.
She is survived by her daughters, Carole Richey (Douglas) and Jan Grabowski; grandchildren, Alex Grabowski, Mike Grabowski, and Lia Grabowski; her partner, Ken Forester; and her beloved dog, Roxy. She was preceded in death by her brothers Richard, Robert, and Arnold; her first husband, Joseph Parrinello; her second husband, Ted (Spiro) Theodosis; and her son-in-law, Felix Grabowski.
