Raised in Tribute:
$100.00James Penn lived with courage, love and determination to get better throughout over 10 years of battling Parkinson's disease until his passing on May 17,2018 peacefully in his dream home with family by his side. Born in Scurry, Tx he attended Crozier Tech High School in Dallas, Tx where he played football and baseball was voted most athletic his senior year. He joined the Coast Guard for four years and then started working on the loading dock for RP Kincheloe until they asked him if he wanted to learn how to install and repair X-Ray equipment and from there he had a 40 year successful career as an X-Ray technician working in the hospitals all over the East Tx area. He was praised for his courtesy, efficiency, ability and going above and beyond what was expected of him. He loved his family above all and was an incredible father. He was an avid dart player and loved to play 42, cribbage, trivia, and was an awesome country/western dancer. He never met a stranger and he loved life. He was a comedian with quit wit til the end. Everyone who met him loved him. His daughter was the biggest support the last year and she was able to provide him the best quality of life possible. They were seen out and about at the horse races or trying to find the best catfish in Hot Springs, AR when he felt like getting out. He was truly an inspiration of what the human soul should embody and is missed everyday.
