Yvonne Swanson was born on August 28, 1937. She was a wonderful daughter to her parents Glenn and Helen and sister to Doris, Dorothy and Elaine. She was a devoted wife to husband Gordy for 60 years and raised 3 fine men; Glenn, Mark and Brad.
While raising a family she found time to earn a bachelors degree, become a teacher and earn a master's degree. She impacted the lives of hundreds of young people as a teacher in Wisconsin and Texas. Yvonne's dedication to the children she taught was immense and it came from the heart.
Yvonne liked to spend time with family and friends, travel and read, read and read some more.
There is so much more to say, but the one thing that is true and eternal is Yvonne touched hearts and minds. See passed on September 2, 2017 and is truly missed. She is much loved.
