A retired chief in the Navy, Clinton was married to his beloved Linda for over 50 years, raising 4 boys, all of whom followed their father's lead in serving their country, and one girl. Clinton developed Parkinson's Disease and lived with the struggles of it for the remaining years of his life. This did not stop him from being an inspiring and loving grandfather to 21 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Throughout his illness he continued to lead a life of faith in his Lord, teaching Sunday School and working as a camp counselor. Clinton also committed himself to being a fine little league baseball coach to many young people who still remember him with fondness. His life should be remembered as one of sacrifice, service, and love for his country, his community, and above all, his family.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
