$675.00John Martin Wagner passed away on May 11, 2018, in Phoenix, Ariz., after having been diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2013. He showed very few symptoms, except slowing down, until the final year of life and particularly in his final weeks.
John was born on November 16, 1936, in Preston, Ontario, Canada, to the late Irma Wagner and the late John Wagner. He graduated from the University of Detroit. He was a production planner at Monsanto and Huntsman Corporation until retiring in 2007.
John was married to Tanne McDade Wagner for more than 51 years and the couple lived in St. Louis, Mo., until five years ago.
He is survived by his son, John Martin Wagner Jr.; daughter, Monica Nania; sister, Helen Wagner; grandchildren, Ted Nania, Flannery Nania, Susannah Nania, Charles Nania, and William Wagner; and son-in-law, Jake Nania.
John was devoted to his family and had a passion for watching sports, especially St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
The family invites donations in John's name to Michael J. Fox Foundation.
