Aida Araujo endured Parkinson's for half her life. In Stage 4 Aida (Edo) had more "bad days" as she would call her tremors than "good days". But she lived for her family.
Edo donated and contributed to Parkinson's research. And in the end, she donated her brain for a Parkinson's cure.
She was a beautiful, creative, wacky, generous introvert.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
