Stanley Waxman lived his life by his own rules. Tell him something 'couldn't be done that way' and he'd prove you wrong. For the majority of his life he worked as a trial attorney, and he was amazing to say the least. He loved the law but once retired sitting idle wasn't going to work for him. After retirement Stan dedicated himself to helping people and life coaching which he found extremely rewarding. He loved to work with people and make positive changes in their lives. It truly seemed to be his calling and it was something he believed in with all his heart. Since my fathers passing I've heard over and over from more people than I can count how Stan changed their lives. He was full of life, loved the ocean and loved the outdoors. Most of all he loved his children and grandchildren. He wore many hats and was called by many titles. His absolute favorites were 'Dad' and 'Grandpa.' He had two granddaughters Jackson(Erika) & Olivia(Adam) whom were his world. Parkinson's unfortunately took much of his freedoms away. He refused to believe there was no cure and would argue with doctors when they told him that. He'd say "There IS a cure, you just haven't found it yet." He refused to give up and fought this disease till his last day when complications from pneumonia presented him with a battle he simply could not win. He believed in the search for a cure and in relief from the suffering of Parkinson's. He believed it was possible to rid the world of the awful pain and sadness this disease causes. On behalf of my sister Erika and I, thank you in advance for your donation to further this cause and reinforce my fathers beliefs that one day there will be no more suffering from Parkinson's Disease.
