Raised in Tribute:
$2270.00The City of Seattle's Public Utilities and Information Technologies staff met Garry Smith through work, when he became our manager, co-worker, and our friend. Our lives were enriched by knowing Garry, both professionally and personally. He shared his skills, knowledge, humor, and his great smile. Garry maintained his upbeat positive attitude throughout the years in the face of challenges and change. He was a natural leader and a human being who could connect with anyone at any level.
Garry's special gifts were his interpersonal skills: listening, inclusion, and understanding. He built us into a stronger team and it was a pleasure to work for and with him.
We will never feel the same way about Ducks and giant water mugs.
We miss him and will keep him in our hearts.
