Lorenzo was a super-active man, who used to enjoy playing with her daughter Pamela and doing the little handy jobs that his bossy wife, Linda, used to ask him to do.
He was 57 when the disease began showing its symptoms, primarily tremor in his left arm. He managed to have a fairly satisfactory and independent life for approx 12 years when he started deteriorating. His dysphagia worsened and couldn't eat or swallow much food. Eventually he was hospitalised and died in hospital of aspiration pneumonia.
As a daughter, it was so heart-breaking to see him deteriorate day after day. He was also affected by dementia, which meant that he needed to be looked after as if he was a child. He used to be the rock of our life and in a few years he had turned into a disabled child.
He passed away on 09 January 2018. He fought hard against this terrible disease. He will be sadly missed !!!!!!
