Raised in Tribute:
$225.00Neal; as she was called by many was recently called by the angels above. She had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease several years ago. As the disease progressed it made it more and more difficult for her to live at home. She then went to live at Bolster Heights Residential Care Facility in Auburn, ME until she passed away on December 4, 2017. Even though this disease becomes debilitating she never let it get her down. She never wanted others to suffer from this disease and always hoped for a cure one day. Mom always had a sparkle in her eyes, a smile on her face and a stunning personality that made everyone attract to her. The jokes and her spontaneous wit was always with her up until God decided it was time for her to go be with her one and only love Col. William S. Rogers.
Mom lived a good life up to the age of 90 years old and we believe that it may have been longer had it not been for this dreadful disease. She did very well coping with this, she and her daughter Robin figured out a dance routine of counting so Mom could get her feet to move to the music they were both singing that would help her start walking. Mom was just a HOOT!!
So many loved this lady that used to go hunting, fishing, dancing and spend lots of time with her family and friends. Everyone will miss you Mom but we are hoping this research will help other people so that their lives may last longer and be healthier in the future.
Donations are appreciated to help everyone out there that suffers with Parkinson's Disease and in our hearts we know Mom will be up there fighting hard for this to happen as well. She'll have that sparkle in her eyes so if you see a sparkle one day as you cross a room just remember that's Mom watching out for everyone as she always did. Thank you everyone and Mom to you - keep that smile and wit going, you'll have everyone in heaven laughing. When we feel it rain we'll now understand that it is from the laughter you created up in heaven that brought everyone to tears. Love you Mom!
