In honor of George Malloy who lovingly cared for his wife of 59 years, Ruth Malloy who suffers from Parkinson's disease. George made sure his wife was living as if she was disease free. He took her to comedy clubs, danced with her, lectures and trips on the boat. He worked tirelessly to make sure that Ruth lived her best life with Parkinson's. He took her to Rock Steady Boxing, swim classes, physical therapy, exercise classes and drove weekly to appointments in Boston. He wanted to make sure his wife got the best care possible and would appreciate any donation made possible to eradicate this devastating disease.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
