Debbie Drury Gould of Germantown, TN, 63, passed away on October 28, 2017, following a 5-year battle with Parkinson's Disease. Debbie is survived by her three children and two grandchildren. This page is a tribute to the Mother-Daughter bond between Debbie and her daughter Samantha.

Debbie lived life to the fullest, a sentiment she instilled in Samantha. She was always on the go, always up for anything and always had a smile on her face. Debbie never slowed down because she wanted to make sure her children had the best life imaginable. Debbie was a mother who loved her children in a big way. She was dedicated to them beyond words, and Samantha continues to let that same light shine because she is the most dedicated daughter, sister, and friend you will ever meet.

From carpool to soccer practice, from beach trips to Oxford and the Grove, Debbie was constantly in motion. Debbie loved taking mother-daughter trips; she and Sammi would organize them on a whim, any chance they got. You can see where Samantha's sense of adventure came from!

Debbie never took life too seriously. She treated life like the adventure it is. She cherished every single day she had with her children and showed them an abundance of love and care.

Sammi's NYC friends chose to support the Michael J Fox Foundation in honor of this incredible mother and daughter duo. Donations to MJFF help research and treatments of neurodegenerative diseases. In addition, MJFF and their grassroots Team Fox are a supportive community for anyone and any family affected by neurodegenerative diseases.

Sammi - We are in complete awe of the way you have supported your Mom over the years, and of your zest for life. We love you.
