My mother, Donna Renee Henson, was born on January 28, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. She died on September 22, 2017, after a 14 year battle with Parkinson's disease. To her friends and family, Donna was the epitome of grace, kindness, love, strength, and resilience.

I want to honor my mother's memory by raising awareness about this dreadful disease and money to find a cure.

Please join me in my fight to eradicate Parkinson's disease.

Parkinson's disease does not just affect the person living with it; it affects the person's family, friends and loved ones. Our hearts are broken. Donna is survived by her mother, Brenda Wilson; her brother, William Henson; her children, Joseph Poindexter and Erika Poindexter; two grandsons, Rashard Eubanks and Mason Eubanks; and many relatives and friends.
