Raised in Tribute:
$1338.75My mother, Donna Renee Henson, was born on January 28, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. She died on September 22, 2017, after a 14 year battle with Parkinson's disease. To her friends and family, Donna was the epitome of grace, kindness, love, strength, and resilience.
I want to honor my mother's memory by raising awareness about this dreadful disease and money to find a cure.
Please join me in my fight to eradicate Parkinson's disease.
Parkinson's disease does not just affect the person living with it; it affects the person's family, friends and loved ones. Our hearts are broken. Donna is survived by her mother, Brenda Wilson; her brother, William Henson; her children, Joseph Poindexter and Erika Poindexter; two grandsons, Rashard Eubanks and Mason Eubanks; and many relatives and friends.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
