Vincent Cropper was a Farmer, Cattle Rancher, Husband, Father, Friend and to all of us a Hero. Vince learned life could be tough at the young age of 11 when he was diagnosed with Polio. He spent over a month in the Iron Lung and developed patience and empathy. Vince was brilliant and could fix or build anything. He was once told that if he could probably fill his own cavity if he had any. Vince was a very active member of the Millard County Search and Rescue for almost 30 years. He obtained his pilot license and co-owned a Cessna. Vince was a Parent Adviser for the West Millard Rodeo Team and helped a number of cowboys and cowgirls reach their goals. He supported his children in motorcycle racing and raced right next to them. Vince was an avid hunter and fisherman. He never said no to a good fishing trip with his family or friends.
Vince was diagnosed with Parkinson's 26 years ago and never let it get him down. He fought a brave battle but eventually surrendered with his head held high. Even in his final days he was still farming and planning his big deer hunt with the family he loved so much. Our hearts will continue to ache but know that he is smiling down on us. It took a very long time for him to finally say "let's call it a day". We as a family will continue to pray for a cure and help in any way we can. We love you Dad!
