I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2015. To control the tremors I had, they started me on a low dose of Carbidopa/Levodopa. The low dose was not very affective, so they increased the dosage and this help very much. I have very little problems with my tremors now. I may occasionally have very slight tremors in the morning, until I take my medication. As I have taken the medication over time, the problems are very rare now that the medication is built up in my system. My only real problem is that there is only one Neurologist available to see in the Kingman, Arizona area. That is Dr. Munawar A. Paracha, MD and I only seen him once. The office practices at his office grossly violate the HIPPA regulations. The patient rooms are kept open at all times, even being blocked from closing due to a small TV broadcasting medical information preventing the ability to close the doors. The exam rooms are in a hallway, right next to the waiting room allowing the people in the waiting room and the other exam rooms, to hear personal intimate information about the patient during their exam. While in my exam room, not only did I hear the other patients, but I was able to overhear the doctor record personal patient information while he did his dictations, as well as being able to hear office personnel calling in prescriptions and being able to hear private patient information that they provided to the pharmacy. Now to see a Neurologist, I must travel 30 miles to another town.

Though my disease is very stable, I do worry about its progression over the years since I did contract it a a relatively young age. I very greatly appreciate the numerous prayers from my family and friends, as well as the many others that I do not know who have been praying for me from the many prayer lists that I am on or from word of mouth. I have a strong support system in place with my family and friends and I am ready to take on any challenge that I may face in the future with this disease. If you decide to pray for me after reading my story, let me take this opportunity to thank you and may God Bless you for you concern.
