$908.55James Jackson was diagnosed with PD in 2000. For over 25 years he has refused to struggle with the disease and has continued to inspire those around him with his strength and kindness. James had a long career culminating in a management position where he could help people grow in both life and their careers. His lasting impact in his coworkers lives will go unmatched for years to come. He spent a portion of his life dedicated to preserving the nation's history by volunteering to help restore WW2 historical boats, including the PT 309. This provided him an opportunity to make lasting friendships as well as preserve the legacy that our veterans have left behind. He has been a loving husband for 45 years, and the best father anyone could hope for to his children who survive him. His life with PD should serve as an inspiration to others as he refused to let it stop him for the last 25 years. His wit and humor, his wisdom and compassion, his hard work and strong moral compass has shaped many lives, and will continue to hold a lasting impact.
