Raised in Tribute:
$412.00Carrying Craig’s Fight Forward
With love and deep remembrance, we honor the life of Craig Tuttle, who passed away peacefully on the morning of September 2, 2025, at the age of 68.
Craig was a warrior who faced Parkinson’s Disease with strength and dignity every day since his diagnosis in 2011. He never complained about the symptoms or the obstacles his condition brought, but instead fought bravely, offering all who knew him a powerful example of perseverance and determination.
Before his retirement, Craig dedicated his career as a software developer at Penguin Random House. Beyond his work, he was generous with his time, always putting his family and community at the center of his life.
Craig loved his wife of 47 years dearly and was a devoted father to his three children. He took joy in helping with homework, coaching sports, attending dance recitals, and being a steady role model. His family could always count on his presence, encouragement, and care.
Craig also gave wholeheartedly to his community. At Great Hill United Methodist Church, he taught Sunday School, served on the board, and helped maintain the grounds. At work, he took part in volunteer programs, often grabbing a slice of pizza and a Coke before heading to a nearby school to read with children during his lunch break.
He cherished his memories of playing high school athletics and loved retelling stories of his teammates with a wide grin across his face. Later in life, he proudly supported the local high school's football team where his youngest son was a coach, finding joy in yelling and cheering from the crowd.
In keeping with his lifelong generosity, Craig’s final wishes included the donation of his brain to the Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) in affiliation with the Michael J. Fox Foundation. His gift will advance research into the biological markers of Parkinson’s onset and progression, carrying forward his fight to help others.
By contributing in Craig’s memory, you honor not only his courageous battle, but also his enduring legacy of love, generosity, and resilience.
