Raised in Tribute:
$30.90Barbara Ann Porter was a sweet, kind, feisty little southern woman. A loving mother of 2 and devoted Grammy to 5, she was always up for some fun. Barbara worked hard all her life, finishing her professional career at UT Southwestern Medical school in Dallas, TX as an executive assistant. She loved babies, all babies, and when all of hers grew up and left home, she worked in the church nursery at Munger Place UMC until shortly after her Parkinson's diagnosis in 2016. Barbara loved black coffee, a good cheeseburger, daisies and sappy romance novels. She attended every game, recital, concert, birthday party and graduation of her oldest 4 grandkids. She made the best chocolate cream pie on the planet. Barbara didn't let her Parkinson's slow her down for many years, but in the end, her body just couldn't keep up the fight. Barbara passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025. She was dearly loved by many and will be deeply missed by them all.
If you are here to pay tribute to our sweet Mama and Grammy, we thank you. She was truly the best.
