Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather William O'Neil passed at the age of 81 due to complications of Stage 5 Parkinson's Disease. He lived many years with this disease yet continued to care passionately for his wife Sheila and all of those around him. If you are visiting this site then chances are at some point he fixed something for you, made you a baked good, gave you something, and probably made you laugh. He spent his entire life in dedication to our country and was a member of the Severn River Lions Club for many years. We have witnessed firsthand the difficulty of this disease, and we hope that in his honor you will make a donation to the Michael J Fox Foundation to continue the search for a cure and make a future family's journey even a small bit easier.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $2 billion in high-impact research funded to date.
