Jeff fought early onset Parkinson’s disease with ceaseless grit and determination since roughly 1987.
When he died, he had spent half of his life with this cruel disease.
And yet, he refused to allow PD to define him.
In that spirit, Jeff continues to fight Parkinson’s by donating his brain to the University of Maryland’s brain bank. Researchers worldwide will study and learn thanks to his gift.
We would be honored if you’d join us - in Jeff-like grit and determination - in fighting Parkinson’s disease.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $2 billion in high-impact research funded to date.
