Anita (Fietze) Law passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at The Cottages at Garden Grove in Cicero, NY. Anita was the loving wife of 67 years to the late Robert H. Law. Born in Syracuse on July 26, 1930, Anita was the daughter of the late Max and Johanna Fietze. She was raised in East Syracuse and attended East Syracuse schools where she met Robert Law. After their marriage in 1950 Anita and Robert settled in East Syracuse and raised five children. At the same time Anita and Robert worked together to run a very successful construction company, Robert H. Law Inc. Anita enjoyed ballroom dancing, golfing, traveling in their motor home and spending time with her family. Anita is predeceased by her brother Walter Fietze and her daughter Linda Polcaro. Anita is survived by her children Susan Faasse and her husband John, Robin Post, Richard Law and his wife Sandra, Karen Townsend and her husband Clifford, and her son-in-law Francis Polcaro. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 10:00am-12:00noon at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home located at 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse, NY. Burial will be private at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
