$3600.95Michael James Meyers, age 74, of Holt Michigan, died April 5, 2025, from complications from Parkinson’s disease. Mike, born December 8th, 1950, grew up in Detroit and attended Sacred Heart Seminary for High School and into college. After meeting Linda, he transferred to Wayne State where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He served as a police officer in Bloomfield Township for 28 years before retiring with Linda to Indian River, MI. Later, Mike and Linda would move to Holt to be near the grandkids. Mike enjoyed visiting and learning about great lake shipwrecks, lighthouses, and the civil war. He most treasured his time traveling with Linda, spending time with his three beautiful granddaughters, and watching the Tigers and Lions.
Mike was the beloved husband of Linda; proud and loving father of Michael (Angela), Danielle (Douglas) and Patrick (Jonna); devoted grandfather of Abigail, Sydney, and Marguerite; and dear brother of Robert (Jean), Sue (Robert) Schwark, Nancy (late Robert) Lentz, David (Susan), Ruthanne ( Gilpin and the late infant Katherine.
