Larry Lee Watson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, passed away on January 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 28, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio Larry lived a life brimming with love, laughter, and an unforgettable sense of wit.

Larry grew up in Cleveland alongside his sister, Carole. After graduating from West Tech High School in 1968, Larry answered the call to serve his country. In 1969, he joined the United States Marine Corps, serving honorably for four years. During this time, he married the love of his life, Susan. Together, they built a beautiful life and celebrated 53 years of marriage.

Larry and Susan were blessed with two daughters, Veronica and Amanda. Larry was a devoted father, always eager to share his wisdom and humor with his family, fostering a home filled with love and laughter.

For over 30 years, Larry worked at General Motors as a highly skilled machine repairman. His knack for technology and computers earned him the affectionate nickname "Doc Watson" among his colleagues. After retiring at 58, Larry embraced his passions wholeheartedly. Chief among them was riding his cherished Harley Davidson Electra Glide, a pursuit that brought him immense joy and freedom.

A man of many talents and interests, Larry’s generosity and sharp intellect left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Whether he was sharing invaluable financial advice, fixing just about anything, or discussing the latest in technology, Larry was always willing to help. He loved traveling, trying his luck at the casino, and diving into the ever-changing world of computers.

Larry's greatest pride and joy was his family. Along with his loving wife and daughters, he is survived by his sons-in-law, Jason and Bob, and his five grandchildren: Aidan, Keigen, Rowan, Meghan, and Kaitlyn. Each of them brought unparalleled happiness to his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Larry’s legacy of kindness, wisdom, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the incredible life he led and the countless lives he touched.
