$2931.25Ronald was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease (PD) in 2018 while living with his loving wife Annette in Chandler, AZ. Along with their parents, his children (Shari & Ron Jr.) were all born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to AZ in the mid 1960s.
Before being diagnosed with PD, Ron Sr. had an exemplary career as an Engineer at Goodyear Aerospace and IBM; he also held Professional Engineering certifications in 4 states. Ron was a General Contractor, building many custom homes in Moon Valley (Phx). He was a HARD WORKER and caring husband/father who never sat still. Between all the "day job" and after hours work projects, he was an avid tennis player and once his (only) grandchild was born, we all got to see what a great sport he was - willing to do all crazy activities with Jessica as she grew up and forged a close bond with her "Pap" which lasted until his dying moments. In the past 4 years, he got to enjoy his 2 great-grandkids, Juliana & Jaxon who loved their Pap too!
He existed with this PD as gracefully/graciously as anyone could, never complaining and keeping his sense of humor through the constant deterioration and lack of physical mobility. He remains an inspiration to his family and all who knew him and saw how stoically he navigated this disease. Ronald passed peacefully at his care home on 12/24/24, just 4 days before his 86th birthday.
The Tripson family is very grateful to all who choose to donate to PD research; advancements are being made and we pray for a cure to this and all life-threatening diseases. Thank you for your support.
Annette, Shari, Ron & Mary
