Raised in Tribute:
$1016.70My Father Lew Krehel passed away in December of 2020 at the age of 76. He was the greatest man I will ever have known. When he passed away being the only son I did feel that old saying that only a son will understand when they bury their Father. He was the 1 person in your life who deeply wanted you to be better than he was. He set the bar in places I can only dream about. His 38 years with Parkinsons Disease did not stop him from loving life. Loving Mom until the moment he was gone. He loved his sister Janice deeply without ever saying a negative word about her. They are two very like minded individuals. My Uncle John was my Father's #1 fan and my Father loved him for all the precious interests they shared in life. My Father's life changed in so many positive ways when his 1st grandchild Nicholas Krehel Jr was born the day before my Father Birthday in 1988. My Father was always called Poppy by all the grandchildren and family members. Nick Jr really had a special deep relationship with his Poppy that was theirs alone. But this did not stop Dad from showing love to all of his grandchildren. He dedicated his entire life to Christ and to his family. No matter what he always found the good in others. His example lives on for all the future Krehels. Dad I love you and I'm grasping with my Faith and you not being physically in our lives. But I always said I would continue to fight in any way I could to find a cure for Parkinsons for future generations to come. Our family in each way will donate to this cause to help end Parkinsons. I will always be honored to have you as my Father. Love Nick Sr
