Raised in Tribute:
$51.50Michael Manning, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away November 29, 2024.
A devoted fan of the LA Dodgers and the Denver Broncos, Mike could often be found cheering for his favorite teams with passion. His work as an 18-wheeler driver took him across the country, allowing him to experience the beauty of America’s highways and landscapes. After decades of dedication on the road, he retired in 2015 following his Parkinson's diagnosis.
Mike was a man of faith, who cherished his family deeply. He prayed nightly for his six great-grandchildren, whom he adored, and was a steady source of love and laughter for his three children and five grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley, who was his constant partner and source of strength.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, enduring faith, and the joy he found in family and sports. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he loved so dearly.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
