Raised in Tribute:
$507.50It is with profound sadness that the family of Marilyn Salinas announces her passing on September 19th, 2024. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend to so many, Marilyn’s spirit and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her.
Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 19 years ago, Marilyn faced any associated challenges with unwavering grace. A lover of art and the ocean, she created her dream home in Laguna Beach, where she thrived in the beauty that surrounded her. Living happily alongside her husband of 62 years, Gil Salinas, she filled her days with painting, gardening, and reading.
Above all, Marilyn cherished her time with family. Whether it was cheering at sports games, celebrating graduations, attending plays, or honoring birthdays - she was always present and full of love and pride for her family.
The Salinas family would like to thank you for your love, support and prayers during this difficult time. In honor of Marilyn’s life, we invite you to consider donating to a foundation dedicated to improving the lives of those living with Parkinson’s disease. Your kindness and generosity will serve as a lasting tribute to her legacy.
