Raised in Tribute:
$790.60After battling Parkinson's for several years, Douglas Allen Tinney passed away on October 5, 2024 at the age of 77. He lived a long, vivacious life filled with many great memories made with friends and family. He enjoyed playing golf, going on long bike rides, good food, and drinking red wine. Doug’s pertinacious attitude, infectious smile, silly sense of humor, and boundless creativity will be missed dearly.
Doug served in the United States Navy for several years before moving to California from the East Coast. He attended the California College of the Arts (formerly, California College of the Arts and Crafts) where he earned a degree in Graphic Design. Doug applied his degree and spent a career working for the Ampex Corporation in Redwood City.
We hope that you will make a donation in Doug's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help their continuing efforts in finding a cure and the development of new therapies for those living with Parkinson's.
