Raised in Tribute:
$1565.00John “Jay“ Sumner Bartlett, III, passed away in his home on September 18, 2024 following a lengthy illness. He was the loving husband of Cheri (Belmore) Bartlett with whom he shared 35 wonderful years of marriage. In addition he was a devoted father to his one son, John Sumner Bartlett IV.
He was first diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2016. He fought valiantly during the following 8 years staying positive and remaining hopeful that sometime in the future there would be a cure. Each year Parkinson's would weigh more heavily than the last, but he never gave up and battled until the end with grace and strength. As difficult as the times he faced were, his goal was a Parkinson's-free future for himself and others.
Though he succumbed to the disease, your contribution will allow us to get one step closer to the vision Jay had.
Thank you,
The Bartlett Family
