In Loving Memory of Dorothy Plant

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Plant, a woman whose life was defined by her warmth, compassion, and unwavering strength. Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, & friend. She had an incredible ability to light up any room with her smile, and she approached life with kindness and resilience, always putting the needs of others before her own.

Throughout her journey, Dorothy faced challenges with immense grace, especially as she confronted Parkinson’s disease. She remained a beacon of hope, never losing her sense of humor or her love for the people around her. Even on the toughest days, Dorothy found a way to lift up those around her, proving that her spirit was far greater than any obstacle. Dorothy was no stranger to the challenges posed by Parkinson's, having been a devoted caregiver to her father, who battled the illness.  

In honor of her life, we ask that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Parkinson’s research was a cause that became close to Dorothy’s heart and supporting this foundation is a way for us to continue the fight she and her father faced so bravely. Your generosity will help keep her legacy alive by advancing research and the search for a cure. Dorothy’s memory will live on in all who knew and loved her, and her kindness and strength will never be forgotten.
