My name is Ximena Calderón and I am from Colombia. My mother passed away on October 12, 2023, after living with Parkinson's disease for 20 years.

The days without her have not been easy; I miss her deeply. I will always remember her strength and her cheerful attitude towards life. She was a warrior, always showing me her bravery despite life's challenges.

Her life was synonymous with overcoming obstacles and fighting, but above all, it was filled with immense love for her children. She had boundless love for her grandchildren and was devoted to her family. Her generosity was limitless, and she had a deep empathy for others suffering from the disease. My mother had true friends ; angels who always came with sincerity and love for a woman who demonstrated the value of true friendship that captivated everyone.

Despite the difficulties of her illness, she always understood the importance of a smile to enhance her effort to manage her disease in the best way possible.

She was fantastic, joyful, and always leave a sensation wherever she went. She loved music, and singing was her passion. She was always genuine, hardworking, and active.

As we approach the first anniversary of her absence, we remember her with joy and much love, knowing that she is now in a better place, missing you deeply,
Mom I will never abandon your memory; you are with me, with us. This tribute is for the best mom life could have given me, thank you for so much, for life itself. You are not present, but you continue in my heart and in my thoughts.

Mi mamá falleció el 12 de octubre de 2023 después de vivir con la enfermedad de Parkinson durante 20 años.
Los días sin ella no han sido fáciles; La extraño profundamente. Siempre recordaré su fuerza y su actitud alegre ante la vida. Era una guerrera, que constantemente me mostraba su valentía a pesar de los desafíos de la vida.
Su vida; sinónimo de superación, de lucha, pero sobre todo de mucho amor hacia sus hijos. Con un amor infinito hacia sus nietos y entregada a su familia. Siempre con una generosidad infinita y con una sensibilidad por quienes también sufrían la enfermedad, Mi madre tuvo verdaderos amigos , ángeles que llegaron siempre con la sinceridad y el amor hacia una mujer que demostró el valor de la verdadera amistad que lograba cautivar .
A pesar de las dificultades de su enfermedad siempre tuvo claro la importancia de una sonrisa para potenciar su esfuerzo por llevar su enfermedad de la mejor manera
Era fantástica, alegre, donde llegaba causaba sensación. Amaba la música, y el canto fue su pasión. Siempre autentica trabajadora y activa
Ya al estar por cumplir un año de su ausencia la recordamos con alegría con mucho amor sabiendo que ahora esta en un lugar mejor, extrañándote profundamente mama. Nunca abandonare tu recuerdo, me acompañas. Este tributo es para la mejor mama que me ha podido dar la vida, gracias por tanto, por la vida misma . No estas presente, pero sigues en mi corazón y en mis pensamientos
