Raised in Tribute:
$472.75Francis, or Babe to most, Anderson lived his whole life in Atco, NJ. He was born to Benjamin and Rose Anderson on November 4th, 1941, had one sister, Amy, and four brothers, Benjamin, Edward, Howard, and William. In 1964, he married Patricia who would go on to be his wife forever. They had a daughter together, Francesca who gave him a grandson Nicholas. He also was blessed with two great-grandchildren Julianna and Benjamin.
Babe can be remembered for many things, including his time working at Owens Corning, operating Frankie's Lawn and Garden Center, operating Anderson Landscaping Services, opening and operating Freestyle Ski Shop for over 30 years, proudly serving in the NJ Forest Fire Service for many years, and being one of the founders of the South Jersey Quarter Midget Association.
Towards the end of his life, Babe developed Parkinson's and later cancer. The loss of our loved one hurts, but we hope that through a Tribute, we can help stop others from suffering from diseases such as Parkinson's.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
