$559.00Nenita “Nita” Reyes Castillo, age 84, of Hazlet, NJ, passed away on July 31, 2024 at her home. She was born on October 10, 1939 in the Philippines. Nita was a proud graduate of Wesleyan University, Philippines, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Education in 1966. She then worked as an elementary school teacher before following her husband to America in 1971 to seek a better future for her family. She embraced her new country with faith and dedication. Professionally, she retired in September 1999 from Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne (MOTBY), NJ.
Throughout her life, Nita demonstrated an unwavering commitment to her faith. She was known for her dedication to attending daily mass at various churches in the area, reflecting her deep spiritual devotion and her desire to stay close to God. Her spiritual journey was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. Above all, Nita cherished her role as a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, always putting her family first. Her selflessness and love were a guiding light to her loved ones.
Nita will be deeply missed, and her legacy of faith, family, and professional achievement will be cherished by all who knew her.
