Gramps was the kindest soul you could ever meet. He was hilarious and always joking around. He never stopped being a kid and never lost his joy and goofiness. Growing up he was my everything… my best friend, my playmate, my partner. I am so grateful to have had the amazing relationship we did and that he stayed around long enough to meet Kai and Skylar. Losing him to Parkinson’s wasn’t the hard part, it was honestly a relief. Watching him suffer immensely for years with Parkinson’s was the hard part. He was one of the strongest people I ever knew.
