Raised in Tribute:
$101.50Sally Hoffman is my mom, she worked for the women's shelter helping and educating moms and working with the children to get through the trauma they were dealing with. She was a Christian educator and very active in her church.
Most importantly she was a Gramma to 4 - two girls and two boys. She was very loved by them, the fun Gramma doing crafts, baking cookies, and teaching them how to sew, she gave them unconditional love and support and never missed a play, choir concert, volleyball game, soccer. game, baseball game, or wrestling meet cheering for wins and hugging after losses.
She started her battle with Parkinson's in 2013 and suffered a stroke in 2016 - passed away in December of 2016.
She was one of the kindest souls I have ever known and is missed every day, We remember her by telling stories and making sure we go out to eat with friends and family, she loved going out with her friends once she retired, sometimes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with different friends all in the same day.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
