Srinivasa Aragula Nagaraja Rao was the beloved husband of Hemalatha Rao, loving father of Anjali Rao (Roop Nangia) of Northbrook, IL and Rajani Rao of San Francisco, CA, and devoted grandfather to Anika and Malini Nangia.

Seena was born September 9, 1940 in Kanpur, India. Raised as one of ten siblings, he spent much of his youth honing his award winning athletic skills, and was known amongst his family for his gentle and affectionate manner.

Seena graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology in Ranchi, India and was also a self-taught software engineer. Focused on the steel and energy industries, Seena’s international career spanned several decades across Iran, Czechoslovakia, and the USA.

Seena and Hemi were married for over 52 years, and she provided amazing care and support for him as his health worsened. Seena valiantly fought through degenerative arthritis and Parkinson’s disease over the past several years.
