Bob was my first Seniors Helping Seniors client. He had Parkinson's and dementia for two years. I cared for his family from August 2023 until his passing in May 2024. His wife Marguerite valiantly cared for him, despite enduring the ravages of Rheumatoid Arthritis since the age of 17. His daughter Cindy, the only child nearby, was stalwart in her support of her mom and dad from the time he was stricken through his last days.
Bob was a devoted husband, a loving father, a race car enthusiast, and a picky eater. 😃
I was astounded at the sheer numbers of people who deeply loved the Stellings: so many family members, oodles of friends, and a myriad of church folks.
The family's deep Christian faith carried them through this heartbreaking journey. I was privileged to serve the Stellings. We will be friends henceforth and forever more.
Bob, I know you are talking coherently and leaping for joy in the presence of your Lord.
