Richard's battle with Parkinson's came to an end Wednesday, April 27, 2024.

Richard was a devoted family man who enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren with ice cream, candy and treats before and again after supper. He loved attending his grandkids numerous activities and spending time on the farm with his family. His love for farming, gardening and traveling have been passed down to all of his children. Some of his fondest memories were of family vacations with his wife and kids driving cross-country.

He leaves behind his wife of 42 year. Although Richard did not get to be the grandpa he imagined due to Parkinson's, his love for his family, farming and traveling persisted.
