This past Thursday we received an unexpected call from my father. Mom, battling 12 plus years of early onset Parkinson's had paced peacefully in her sleep. The highly degenerative disease of both mind and body takes your wife, your mother, your sister day by day away from you. My mother was born to be an amazing grandmother, yet the fates never let her be the one she wanted to be. My peace comes with knowing that she is free from her bodily constraints. She is with her parents and friends and of course all our puppies over the rainbow bridge. She will be missed dearly, and for those that knew her, please remember the times earlier in life. The strong 4'11" Italian woman with the heart of a lion and open door and fridge to all friends and families. Mom love you so much, I am so so sorry this is the end to this chapter but know you will be watching over all of us for the rest. I will See you soon.
