Raised in Tribute:
$929.80Patricia (Pat) Anderson was an amazing woman. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and she was the fastest walker in the family. She lived with Parkinson's for 12 years, and had such a good attitude even during the hardest days.
She loved spending time with her friends and family, particularly watching her granddaughter Molly grow up and supporting her in all she does. She was an excellent cook who could have been a professional chef, with her recipes living on through a well-referenced family cookbook. As cooking became more challenging, Pat honed her ability to teach her family & friends, and often coached her beloved husband, Drew, in cooking family meals several nights a week.
Pat loved music and was a great singer. She loved good restaurants and extensive travel. She loved reading mystery novels, and would do everything she could to hold open 800 page books. She had a passion for British culture, stemming from her years living in London in the 1970s, where she met and married Drew. Pat returned to the United States to raise a family, but would frequently return to the United Kingdom to visit family and friends.
Pat loved education and enjoyed her many years working at Whitman Elementary and Washington Township High School. She loved watching MSNBC and voted in every election she could, encouraging everyone to vote. She gave great advice, was warm and supportive, and was no-nonsense in all the best ways. She was practical and patient, kind and diplomatic, always grateful, and someone who cared deeply about the people in her life. We will spend the rest of our lives loving her and wishing she was still here with us.
