Raised in Tribute:
$660.50David William Taylor, aged 76, a cherished resident of Lakewood Ranch, FL, and Fenton, MI, departed this life on January 30, 2024. He leaves behind his adored wife, Barbara, after 53 years of loving marriage. His legacy continues through his children, grandchildren, and a family who deeply loved him. David led a fulfilling life as an entrepreneur in Michigan, touching many lives through his various companies. His academic journey as an electrical engineer began at Beecher High School, followed by studies at General Motors Institute and culminating with a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State.
David's passions were as vast as his achievements. He found joy in sailing, exploring new places, immersing himself in books, savoring fine wine, and above all, cherishing moments with his family. He believed firmly that the essence of life was in these shared experiences, often remarking, “That’s what life is all about.” David's warmth, wisdom, and zest for life will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey may have ended, but his spirit and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Michael J Fox Parkinson’s Foundation in Memory of David Taylor.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
