Raised in Tribute:
$257.50In loving memory of Barbara Lucas who, at the age of 85, powered through the many difficulties of Parkinson’s. Despite all the struggles and setbacks she faced with a diagnosis so late in life, her spirit, courage, determination, and the boundless love she put out into the world, will always inspire us and forever be remembered.
Survived by her sons Randy (Becki, Deceased) and Richard (Pai Lao), as well as their father and her high-school sweetheart Franklin, Mom was also the loving grandmother of Paige Williams (Nick), Brooke, and Krista, and great-grandmother to Kinsley Williams. She was the daughter of the late Gladys Scott (nee Carter) of Charleston, sister to Jean Haynes (Deceased) and Lynda Jackson. As a cherished aunt, ‘second-mother’, and dearest friend to the many she worked with and knew over the years, we’ll all be forever touched by her kind, loving soul and spirit.
We think Mom would be happy knowing that the people in her life could help out, in some way, by contributing to the work and research behind the diagnosis, treatment and cure for Parkinson’s. We personally thank you for any contribution you can make, and for being in her life and, by extension, a part of our family.
