Mavis Peterson, 86, of White Bear Lake, MN, passed away on September 12, 2023 due to complications from Parkinson’s, including lung and heart failure. The last 5 years, she was confined to a wheelchair. She was a strong and generous person with a great sense of humor. Mavis leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and cherished memories.
Mavis was a dedicated member of the Community of Grace Lutheran Church where she found solace and strength in her faith. Mavis enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including baking, cooking, painting, reading, and crafting. Her creativity and passion for these activities brought joy to those around her and allowed her to express her artistic side. In her final years, many of the things she loved to do became difficult, if not impossible, as her condition worsened. We must find better treatments and hopefully a cure for this debilitating disease. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace.
