Raised in Tribute:
$665.00Frank Barry Jr. died peacefully on August 19, 2023, after a brief illness. A man of warmth, humor, intelligence, strength, and kindness, he was fan of history, sailing, good food, and bad puns. Frank loved the Syracuse Orangemen, the Buffalo Bills, the Boston Celtics, his friends, children and grandchildren, and the love of his life Ann.
Despite a long battle against Parkinson’s Disease and other ailments, Frank was immune to self-pity and was unfailingly gracious to the many healthcare professionals who assisted him along the way. Frank’s family is deeply grateful to the staff at Atria Woodbriar Park, Fox Rehabilitation and Falmouth Hospital, who all treated him with kindness and care. Special thanks to Dr. Alice Flaherty, who provided much appreciated care and advice regarding Parkinson's.
As It affects each person differently, Frank was fond of saying:: "if you've met one person with Parkinson's, you've met one person with Parkinson's".
