Raised in Tribute:
$103.00It is with great sadness that the family of Katherine Fogler announce her passing on June 10, 2023. Kerry was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2017. She was intimately familiar with this disease as she cared for her own father while he lived with Parkinson’s. Kerry lived a life of service, from her early days as a candy striper at the local hospital, to volunteering with the Junior League of Boston, the Parent Teacher Group at her childrens schools, the Scottish Terrier Club of New England and Ladies Dog Club as well as countless other organizations. And so, from very early on, she was interested in helping Parkinson’s research. Working with her care team, she was always willing to be a part of a study, try a new therapy or help out in any way she could. She also firmly believed that exercise was important in helping her to cope with her Parkinson's, and was actively involved in a cycling class, riding stationary bikes, and a boxing class. A loving mother, wife, and grandmother, and a force to behold, she will be dearly missed.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
