$1937.20Born and raised in Karnataka, India on April 23rd, 1935, Dr. T.L Nagabhushan finished his undergraduate studies in Science from Mysore University in 1955. In 1958 he arrived in Munich, Germany to pursue his advanced degree in Chemistry at the University of Munich. After Completing his education in Germany, he enrolled at the University of Alberta in 1962 to work on his in Chemistry. In 1973 he moved to NJ to start his illustrious career with Schering Plough Corporation. While there, he was instrumental in bringing Interferon Alpha to the market as a treatment for Hep-C and certain cancers. He retired in 2000 as President and CEO of DNAX and Senior Vice President of Schering Plough.
Dr. Nag was an avid golfer, musician, recreational pilot and a gourmet cook. On May 17th, 2023, he succumbed to complications as a result of his years long battle with Parkinson's disease.
