Raised in Tribute:
$16485.50I wanted to share with you a story about the early days of my career in commercial real estate, and the role that my mentor, Ben Sgambati, played in helping me succeed.
Back in 2007, I started working at Marcus & Millichap, and I was fortunate enough to be paired with Ben as my mentor. Not only was he a highly skilled broker, but he was also an incredible person who truly cared about those he worked with, including myself. I had the privilege of shadowing him in the beginning of my career, bringing him to various meetings, and eventually becoming great friends and business partners in the real estate industry.
In 2011 we started building our own "team," which we called the “Cafiero Sgambati Team”. At that time, it was just the two of us, but over the years, we slowly began adding members to our team and consistently grew our business. Ben taught me all the ins and outs of the real estate industry, and most importantly, how to conduct myself using his five pillars of the industry:
Professionalism, Integrity, Responsiveness, Discretion, and Results.
Now that Ben is retired, I want to take this opportunity to thank him for all that he has done for me and our team. Without his guidance, support, and friendship, the Cafiero Team, which now consists of nearly 20 agents and staff, would not exist today.
Unfortunately, Ben is currently battling Parkinson's disease, and I am asking for your support in helping him and others affected by this condition.
Please consider making a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, a fantastic organization that is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter, and for your consideration in supporting my friend and mentor, Ben Sgambati and all those who battle this serious affliction.
-Alan Cafiero
