$1510.00Gary was born to the late Roy Dean Ogden and Ina V Ogden April 30, 1951 in Tucumcari New Mexico. At the age of 6 the family moved to Davenport, Iowa where his father attended chiropractic college. Upon graduating his father moved the family to Chico, California. Gary graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in Chico in 1969. He followed in his father’s footsteps, graduating and receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1975. He successfully completed his State Board Exams the same year.
Gary met his wife Diane in Chico on a blind date on Valentine’s Day in 1971. They were married on June 9, 1974 and were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Elise in 1977 and Christine in 1981.
Gary practiced with his father for several years before setting up his own practice in Pleasanton, sold his practice in 2004 and retired to Paradise. After 2 years he bought an established Chiropractic office in Paradise, practicing for 11 years, before retiring again in 2017. Paradise was truly paradise.
Gary was a dedicated fisherman, belonging to several Bass Fishing Clubs, competing in bass tournaments and fly fishing rivers and streams whenever he had the chance. He was on the high school golf team and continued to golf throughout his life. He and Diane learned ballroom dancing and he took her dancing often. He was a member of Rotary Club in Pleasanton for 18 years and an officer and member of the Elks Lodge in Paradise for 12 years. He loved to hike the National Parks all across America with Diane by his side. His smile and great laugh will forever be remembered by all.
