Raised in Tribute:
$20.60On Monday, December 26th, 2022, Rodney Norris passed away at age 75.
Born in El Paso to Ralph and Zelma Norris, Rodney grew up mostly in the El Paso area before moving to Odessa. He worked as a radio engineer for various local radio stations in the Permian Basin. When he wasn’t working as a professional engineer, he was a member of the area’s HAM radio club. He could often be found speaking to people across the globe on one of his radios. A loyal Pink Floyd fan, Rodney would often spend time listening to their albums and finding performances on YouTube. He was a nature nerd, a lover of learning, and an enthusiastic colleague to those he worked with.
Rodney was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by a daughter and brother, though his absence will be felt by many.
