Linda went to a doctor's appointment where the NP noticed Linda's hand shaking, she told Linda to get it checked out and that's when Linda learned she had Parkinson's.
Linda had brain surgery so she could attend her only granddaughter's high school graduation. Imagine going through that for a day's event.
Whenever you asked Linda how she was doing she'd reply, "oh, I'm hanging in there."
And she did, until she couldn't any longer.
"Edit Linda Miller's Story" - well, we can't. She died of Parkinson's and she had dementia, so if and when you care to remember Linda, please donate to the Michael J Fox foundation or any dementia related charity that is near and dear to your heart.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
